Equine Therapy
Horses have an amazing ability to teach us how to establish relationships based on respect, authenticity, and alignment. As prey animals, they have finely attuned and heightened nervous systems that serve as mirrors to our own inner processes and patterns. They are highly sensitive beings that can help us reawaken our own intuitive senses while encouraging us to be fully present. Using a gentle and compassionate approach, I help humans and horses learn to communicate and connect in order to address areas such as self-confidence, trauma, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and more. Sessions also focus on integrating skills and wisdom gained with the horses into daily life and relationships.
Equine Assisted Therapy sessions are open for kids, adolescents, and adults. No horse experience is necessary, but it is also appropriate for those with extensive experience. Spanish and English spoken.
$75/session, sliding scale options available.
Sessions last between 1-1.5 hours.
